Our address is 402 E Yakima Ave, Yakima, WA 98901, if you'd rather come by than call. Most of the work we do is on-site at the house, since a garage door isn't something you bring in, but if you want to ask questions in person first, we're there.
After you call, we'll ask for the make of your opener if you have one, roughly how old the door is, and whether it's a single or double. That's enough for us to bring the right torsion springs or opener parts on the first trip instead of guessing and coming back. We don't do sales calls or estimates over text, a real conversation is faster and gets you a straighter answer.
What We Do Not Take On
We work on residential garage doors: springs, cables, rollers, tracks, panels, openers, and the hardware that holds all of it together. We don't install commercial rolling steel doors or loading-dock equipment, and we're not a fencing or gate company, even though people sometimes call us for that.
A fair number of houses in this valley date back to the 1960s and 70s, with the overall stock running from 1938 up through 2003. On the older end of that range you'll find one-piece doors and hardware that nobody manufactures new parts for anymore. When we hit one of those, we'll tell you straight, sometimes the honest answer is that replacing the door costs less than hunting down obsolete parts for a repair that won't hold up long-term anyway.
We also don't carry every part on every truck. If your opener is an odd or older model, there can be a short wait on the part coming in. We'd rather tell you that up front than promise a same-day fix we can't back up.

Winters here are cold and hard on garage door hardware, springs lose tension faster in the cold, and openers with weak batteries or worn gears tend to quit right when the temperature drops. That's true whether you're in town or out toward Naches or Zillah, so if your door has been sluggish or noisy going into winter, it's worth a call before it fails on a morning you actually need to get out.

Yes. Both are about 4 miles from our Yakima Ave location and within the area we regularly cover, along with Ahtanum, Summitview, Gleed, and Terrace Heights nearby.
How far will you travel for a repair?
We cover roughly a 4 to 18 mile radius around Yakima, including towns like Moxee, Cowiche, Naches, Wapato, Buena, White Swan, Zillah, and Toppenish. If you're outside that range, call and ask, we'll tell you straight whether it makes sense.
My house is older, can you still get parts for my door?
Often, yes, but not always. A lot of homes in this area were built in the 1960s and 70s, and some older one-piece doors use hardware that's no longer made. We'll tell you on the spot if that's the case and whether repair or replacement makes more sense.
Do you give estimates over the phone?
We can give you a general idea once you describe the problem, the door type, and the opener brand if there is one. A firm number usually needs a look at the actual hardware, since springs and tracks wear differently door to door.
